Disassembly of tensioning cylinder
The tensioning cylinder is an important component of an excavator, usually composed of a cylinder body, piston, piston rod, and tensioning cylinder flange. Before replacing the oil seal of the tensioning cylinder, it is necessary to remove the tensioning cylinder first.
The steps to disassemble the tensioning cylinder are as follows:
1. Park the excavator on a flat surface and turn off the engine.
2. Find the tightening cylinder, disassemble the flange of the tightening cylinder, and take out the cylinder body, piston, and piston rod together.
3. Clean the inside of the cylinder block, check the surface of the piston and piston rod for obvious wear or scratches, and replace if necessary.
