Property

Light yellow transparent liquid. There is a foul odor. Insoluble in water, miscible with ethanol, ether, and acetic acid.

Used as a solvent and pesticide intermediate, fuel and lubricant additive, coking inhibitor for ethylene cracking furnaces and refining units, etc

Used as a solvent and pesticide intermediate, it is also the main raw material for methylsulfonyl chloride and methylsulfonic acid products
