Tetramethoxymethylglycourea is a versatile, excellent amino resin curing agent developed by Cytel in the United States as an outdoor powder coating curing agent, trade name Powderlink 1174. Tetramethoxymethylglycourea can be crosslinked and cured by reacting with polymers containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, amide, mercapto and other functional groups, such as it can be used as a crosslinker for negative photoresist.

At the same time, tetramethoxymethylglycourea has a high melting point, is a non-viscous, non-agglomerating, easy to crush solids, so it is particularly suitable for the preparation of outdoor durable powder coatings.
