The flocculation of poly(a) aluminum chloride is as follows:
 a, strong electrical neutralization of colloidal substances in water.
 b. Excellent bridging adsorption of hydrolysate on suspended solids in water.
c. Selective adsorption of dissolved substances.

Physical properties

Sodium hydroxide is a white translucent crystalline solid. Its aqueous solution has astringent and slippery feel. [5]
Water absorption (deliquescent): Sodium hydroxide is easily deliquescent in the air, so solid sodium hydroxide is often used as a desiccant. [6] However, liquid sodium hydroxide does not absorb water.
Solubility:
Very soluble in water, releasing a lot of heat when dissolved. Soluble in ethanol and glycerin.
