Carbohydrazide
8 month agoCarbohydrazide Cas:497-18-7 is a white columnar crystal that absorbs heat upon dissolution. The nitrogen content is 62.18%, and the pH of the 1% aqueous solution is 7.4. Carbohydrazide Cas:497-18-7 does not absorb moisture and has extremely strong reducibility. Reacting with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid, and nitric acid all produces salts. The generated chlorides are highly soluble in water; Sulfate and oxalate are slightly soluble in water; Phosphates and nitrates cannot crystallize. In the presence of nitrous acid, carbazide will transform into a highly explosive compound - carbonyl azide CO (N3) 2. When an aqueous solution is heated with acid, it will decompose carbazide. When used as a boiler deaerator, carbazide can be added to water or its aqueous solution can be used. The dosage of 1mol O2 carbazide is 0.5mol, and it should be appropriately excessive. The applicable temperature range is 87.8-176.7 ℃. The timing for using carbazide is after thermal deoxygenation. The reaction between carbazide and oxygen is as follows: CON4H6+2O2=2N2+3H2O+CO2.
