The S14-512-6A is a formation and grading equipment specifically designed for polymer pouch batteries. It features 512 independent channels, each with individual control. As a Battery Charge Discharge Tester, it supports current output ranging from 12mA to 6A and employs a four-wire precision measurement technology to achieve full-process automation from formation to grading.

 

The device not only supports constant current charging and discharging from 12 mA to 6 A, but also meets the requirements for developing fast-charging batteries. As a Lithium Ion Battery Tester, its voltage accuracy is ± (0.1% of reading + 0.1% of full scale), and the current accuracy is ± (0.1% of reading + 0.1% of full scale). It can monitor the contact resistance in real-time and automates compensation of the error value corresponding to 0.1 milliohm to ensure data accuracy. Under the condition that the fixture and constant current board can be replaced in a timely manner simultaneously, it also allows to shorten the model change time by 50%. It is also compatible with polymer pouch batteries where the electrode tab width is less than 65 mm. There are various active protection features such as reverse connection protection, short circuit protection, and over-temperature protection with a response time of ≤ 50 msec. The software autotunes calibration to maintain long-term stability. 512 channels operate in parallel. The fixture spacing is 85 mm which is reasonably well suited to a relatively diverse set of battery specifications. It also supports graded 12 parameters, such as capacity, voltage and platform. As a battery charging and discharging tester, it increases chop yield rates by 5%. It also supports seamless connection with existing MES systems and jointly records more than 20 data parameters e.g. voltage, current and temperature - to assist with the process optimization studies.
