ABS Sheet (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer sheet) is a thermoplastic sheet made from ABS resin through extrusion or compression molding processes. Due to its excellent comprehensive performance, it is widely used in various fields.

I. Core Characteristics

ABS resin is copolymerized from three monomers: Acrylonitrile (A), Butadiene (B) and Styrene (S).

The synergistic effect of these three components endows the sheet with unique advantages:

Acrylonitrile (A): Provides chemical resistance, surface hardness and heat resistance;
Butadiene (B): Brings high toughness and impact resistance, and is not easy to break especially at low temperatures;
Styrene (S): Improves processing fluidity and surface gloss, facilitating secondary processing.

II. Main Properties

Mechanical properties: Strong impact resistance (maintaining toughness at low temperatures), moderate strength, which can meet the needs of general structural parts, and good wear resistance.
Processability: Easy to cut, drill, weld and bend. The surface can be painted, electroplated and printed, suitable for complex shape processing.
Chemical and weather resistance: Resistant to water, acids, alkalis, etc., but vulnerable to organic solvents; prone to aging when used outdoors for a long time, requiring anti-ultraviolet treatment.
Others: Low density (about 1.06g/cm³), good electrical insulation, and lighter than metal.

Application:

In the industrial field, ABS Sheet is an ideal material for manufacturing machine casings and protective baffles.

It can withstand slight collisions during equipment operation, and its smooth surface is easy to clean.

Meanwhile, it can be quickly formed through processes such as cutting and welding to adapt to the structural requirements of different equipment.
