Product Description
Abs Sheet 2mm 12mm Plastic Abs Yellow Abs Plastic Sheet Black Abs Sheet
ABS sheet is an outstanding thermoplastic engineering plastic sheet synthesized from acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene monomers,
perfectly combining high strength, excellent toughness and good processability. This product features remarkable impact resistance with notched Izod impact strength exceeding 20kJ/m²,
maintaining good toughness even at low temperatures, while its surface hardness reaches HRR 110 scale, offering both rigidity and scratch resistance.
With heat deflection temperature of 90-100℃ and Vicat softening point around 105℃, it maintains stable mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy within t
he operating temperature range of -40℃ to 80℃, featuring linear expansion coefficient of 8-9×10⁻⁵/°C.
The sheet boasts smooth surface with natural high gloss, suitable for various surface decoration techniques including vacuum metallizing, spraying and printing,
while demonstrating good chemical resistance to daily chemicals like greases and weak acids/alkalis.Its exceptional processability allows machining operations like sawing,
drilling and milling, connection methods including solvent bonding (with acetone) and ultrasonic welding, and can be thermoformed into complex curved shapes.
ABS Sheet for Industrial Use
Advantages Combining the rigidity of acrylonitrile, the toughness of butadiene, and the processability of styrene, it is suitable for multi scenario requirements.
The cost is lower than that of metals and some high-performance engineering plastics (such as POM and PEEK),
and the cost-effectiveness is high. The density is only 1.05 g/cm ³, significantly reducing transportation and installation costs.
Can maintain stable performance under dynamic loads and complex environments, reducing maintenance frequency.
Scope of application Industrial manufacturing: equipment casings, structural components, protective devices.
Architectural decoration: advertising display boards, partition walls, elevator car interiors. Consumer electronics: electrical enclosures, instrument panels, electronic device brackets.
Transportation: Automotive interior parts, rail transit components. Home goods: furniture accessories, kitchen and bathroom utensils, children's toys.
Clear ABS Plastic Sheets Tips: Weather resistance limitation: Ordinary ABS may turn yellow during long-term outdoor use,
and UV stabilizers need to be added or ASA modified boards need to be selected.
Fire rating: Standard ABS is HB grade, and customized UL94 V-0 version is required for flame retardant requirements.
Processing temperature: It is recommended to have a processing temperature range of 200-260 ℃ to avoid degradation caused by overheating.
