Mechanical performance
High strength and rigidity: The tensile strength can reach 80-120 MPa, and the bending strength is ≥ 150 MPa, which is better than ordinary nylon sheets.
High hardness: Rockwell hardness (HRR) ≥ 110, excellent impact resistance (notch impact strength ≥ 6 kJ/m ²).
Dimensional stability: Low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE ≈ 6-8 × 10 ⁻⁵/℃), not easily deformed after long-term use.
Physical performance
Wear resistance: High surface hardness, low friction coefficient (μ ≈ 0.1-0.3), wear resistance life is 3-5 times that of metal materials.
Self lubrication: It can work under dry friction conditions without the need for additional lubricants, reducing maintenance costs.
Chemical resistance: Resistant to weak acids, weak bases, and organic solvents (such as gasoline and lubricants), but not to strong acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid) and halogenated hydrocarbons.
Processing performance
It can be processed through mechanical means such as cutting, drilling, and tapping, as well as hot forming (hot bending, welding), to meet the requirements of complex working conditions.
The surface is smooth and flat, making it easy for secondary processing such as painting and film coating.
Environmental adaptability
Wide temperature resistance range: Long term use temperature of -40 ℃~120 ℃, short-term temperature resistance can reach 150 ℃.
Low water absorption rate (≤ 1.5%) and better dimensional stability than ordinary nylon.
