Ertacetal® POM Rods for Engineering
POM rod, also known as polyoxymethylene rod or stainless steel rod, is a solid cylindrical material made of high-density and high crystallinity thermoplastic engineering plastics. It is made by polymerizing formaldehyde monomers (or trimeric formaldehyde) and has excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and chemical corrosion resistance, widely used in industrial manufacturing. POM rods are usually presented in white, black, or other customized colors, with a smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy, which can meet the processing needs of precision parts.
