Product Performance

Physical and mechanical properties

Density range: 30-800 kg/m ³ (adjustable according to foaming rate), high-density models are close to the strength of engineering plastics.

Compressive strength: 0.2-50 MPa (rigid PU), excellent elastic modulus, superior to foam materials such as EPS/XPS.

Tensile strength: Hard PU can reach 3-8 MPa, and soft PU has a tensile rate of 300% -800%.

Thermal Properties

Thermal conductivity: 0.018-0.035 W/(m · K), belonging to high-efficiency insulation materials (better than mineral wool and glass fiber).

Temperature resistance range: -60 ℃ to+120 ℃ (standard type), high temperature modified models can reach up to 180 ℃ (if aromatic ring structure is added).

Chemical stability

Oil and solvent resistance (excluding weakly polar solvents), resistance to weak acids/bases, and hydrolysis stability tested according to ASTM D2849.

UV resistance requires the addition of light stabilizers (such as HALS), otherwise it is prone to yellowing (surface treatment is required for outdoor use).

Other characteristics

Flame retardant rating: Through UL94 HB-V0, adding flame retardants (such as phosphorus based and expansion type) can reach B1 level (GB 8624).

Acoustic performance: The sound absorption coefficient of perforated PU is 0.6-0.9 (500Hz), and the sound insulation of closed cell PU is ≥ 25dB.
