Product Introduction

PEEK HPV (high-performance variant polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance polyetheretherketone composite material designed for high mechanical loads, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance in extreme environments. Its core properties include ultra-high strength, chemical resistance, low thermal expansion, and fatigue resistance and long-term stability optimized through special processes.

Application scenarios: aerospace, petrochemical, precision electronics, medical imports and other harsh working conditions.

Product Advantages

Extreme Strength: Tensile strength 250-300 MPa (90-120 MPa for ordinary PEEK), flexural modulus 10-12 GPa.

Ultra-high temperature resistance: Heat deformation temperature (HDT) reaches 260°C (1.82MPa load), short-term resistance 300°C.

Low expansion: Thermal expansion coefficient 2-3×10⁻⁶/℃ (close to aluminum alloy), excellent dimensional stability.

Corrosion resistance: Resistant to concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic solvents and high-temperature steam.

Versatility: Supports conductive/insulating design (adjusting surface resistivity to 10²-10⁶Ω/sq through fillers).

Bearing grade PEEK HPV is a high performance carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic with excellent mechanical, slide, and wear properties. With the lowest coefficient of friction (COF) of all PEEK grades, it is best suited for bearing and wear applications and can run at high loads and speeds in hostile environments, including continuous exposure to hot water or steam. PEEK HPV is easier to machine than most PEEK grades and can be run dry or with an external lubricant. This sheet is natural in color.

PEEK HPV has a maximum continuous use temperature of 500°F. Its excellent chemical resistance allows PEEK HPV to work as a replacement for stainless steel or metal in hostile conditions. In general, PEEK has proven itself as a suitable replacement for other materials that cost up to 10 times more.
