Equipment Structure

 

An intermediate frequency furnace primarily consists of a power supply system, furnace structure, cooling system, and control system. The core of the power system is the intermediate frequency power supply unit, which includes a rectifier, filter, and inverter, converting industrial frequency AC power into intermediate frequency AC power ranging from 150 to 1000 Hz. The furnace structure comprises an induction coil, furnace lining, and furnace frame. The induction coil is wound from copper tube, offering excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. The furnace lining is typically made of acidic or alkaline refractory materials, selected based on the characteristics of the smelting material, providing insulation and holding the molten metal. The furnace frame provides support and positioning for the entire structure. The cooling system typically utilizes a closed-loop water cooling system consisting of a water pump, cooling tower, piping, and flow sensors to ensure that key components such as the induction coil and thyristors maintain normal temperatures during operation.
