PTFE Roll Sheet (Polytetrafluoroethylene Roll Sheet) is a roll sheet made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin as the base material through calendering or extrusion process. PTFE is a polymer material synthesized by free radical polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE, CF₂=CF₂) monomer under the action of initiator (such as ammonium persulfate). Its molecular chain is composed of repeated -CF₂-CF₂- units. It has extremely high chemical inertness, low friction coefficient and excellent temperature resistance, and is known as the "King of Plastics".

Chemical industry and energy

Chemical equipment seals: PTFE roll sheets are used for reactor gaskets and pipeline flange seals, which are resistant to strong acids and alkalis and have no swelling;

Proton exchange membrane substrate for fuel cells: Ultra-thin PTFE sheets are used as proton exchange membrane carriers after sulfonation modification, which have both high chemical stability and proton conductivity.
