What is the clutch assembly? The transmission clutch is a set of system components used to control the transmission of power between the engine and transmission. The main components of a dry dual clutch include: clutch plate, clutch pressure plate, release bearing, return spring, etc.

Clutch Plate: This is a friction-based composite material usually found in the flywheel housing between the engine and transmission. The clutch plate is fixed in the rear plane of the wheel shaft through screws. The driver can temporarily separate and gradually connect the engine by stepping on or relaxing the clutch pedal while the vehicle is driving, so as to disconnect the power input from the engine to the gearbox.

Clutch pressure plate: The clutch pressure plate is a key component in the clutch system and is of great significance to the driving safety of the car. It works with the flywheel to transmit torque.

Release Bearing: The release bearing is installed between the clutch and the transmission. Its main function is to ensure that the release fork can be positioned correctly when the clutch is disengaged, and to return the clutch components to their original position after the pressure is released.
