2 month agoTea PU Polyether Sheet is a thermosetting polyurethane sheet synthesized with polyether polyol as soft segment, isocyanate (such as TDI, MDI) and chain extender as hard segment. It is formed by casting process and specially dyed to present uniform brown (similar to light brown or amber, color difference ΔE<1). The ether bond (-O-) in the molecular chain of polyether polyurethane gives it excellent hydrolysis resistance, low temperature toughness and resistance to microbial erosion, while the brown coloring not only improves the visual beauty, but also enhances the anti-ultraviolet performance (reduces the risk of yellowing). The surface of the sheet is smooth and delicate (roughness Ra<0.08μm), uniform thickness (tolerance ±0.2mm), thickness range is usually 1mm to 100mm, width can reach 1 meter, and length can be customized according to demand (usually 1 meter to 2 meters). According to the hardness grade and application scenario, it can be divided into high elasticity type (Shore A 70-90), high hardness type (Shore D 50-70) and high temperature resistant enhanced type (adding glass fiber or carbon fiber), which are widely used in automotive interior, industrial protection, sporting goods and high-end electronic equipment.

High elasticity and impact resistance: elongation at break 500%-700% (ordinary polyester polyurethane is about 400%-600%), cantilever beam notch impact strength ≥18kJ/m² (tea PU Polyether Sheet can reach more than 20kJ/m² due to additive optimization), can quickly recover deformation under dynamic load (such as energy absorption rate >85% in high-frequency vibration environment), suitable for parts that withstand frequent impacts (such as automotive shock pads, industrial buffer blocks).
High rigidity adjustable: By adjusting the hard segment ratio (soft segment to hard segment mass ratio), the hardness range covers Shaw A 70-90 (high elasticity) to Shaw D 50-70 (high hardness), meeting the needs of multiple scenarios from flexible sealing to rigid support (such as mobile phone cases made of tea PU Polyether Sheet are both drop-resistant and comfortable to hold).
Excellent wear resistance: Akron wear value ≤ 0.015cm³/1.61km (ordinary rubber is about 0.1-0.3cm³/1.61km), moderate surface hardness (Shore A 70-90) and stable friction coefficient (0.2-0.3), small deformation under long-term friction (such as the life of the conveyor belt roller coating is extended by 3-5 times).

Thermal properties
Wide temperature range adaptability: Brittle temperature as low as -60℃ (ordinary polyester polyurethane is about -30℃), long-term use temperature range -50℃ to 100℃ (short-term tolerance to 120℃ high temperature), heat deformation temperature (under 1.82MPa load) is about 95-115℃, excellent dimensional stability (thermal expansion coefficient is close to metal), suitable for all-weather applications from extreme cold to high temperature.
Low thermal expansion coefficient: about 7-9×10⁻⁵/℃, small deformation under temperature fluctuation environment (such as precision instrument parts maintain accuracy in temperature difference changes).
Chemical properties
Extreme hydrolysis resistance: After long-term immersion in a high temperature and high humidity environment of 85℃/85%RH, the strength retention rate is >95% (only 60%-70% for ordinary polyester polyurethane), and the ether bonds in the molecular chain are almost not attacked by water molecules, which is suitable for parts that are in long-term contact with water (such as ship seals and swimming pool linings).
Resistant to microbial erosion: The ether bond structure is not easily decomposed by fungi or bacteria (ordinary polyester polyurethane is prone to mold), suitable for long-term outdoor exposure parts (such as sporting goods, agricultural equipment), and no mold spots or odors after long-term use.
Oil resistance and solvent resistance: Good tolerance to mineral oil and silicone oil (volume change rate <3%), but slightly higher permeability to gasoline and diesel (long-term contact with fuel should be avoided); adding solvent-resistant modifiers can improve resistance to polar solvents (such as partial replacement of PA6 for gear parts).
Electrical properties
Excellent insulation: Volume resistivity ≥10¹³Ω·cm, dielectric strength 20-28kV/mm, dielectric constant 3.0-3.2 (1MHz), suitable for low-voltage electrical components or electronic component packaging (such as mobile phone charging interface gaskets).

Optical and appearance properties
tea color stability: By adding UV absorbers (such as UV-326) and antioxidants (such as hindered phenols), the tea coating can resist UV radiation (no obvious yellowing after more than 5 years of outdoor use), and the color difference ΔE <1 (the color difference of ordinary untreated polyurethane in outdoor use for 1 year ΔE>3).
Surface gloss: Matt to semi-gloss adjustable (gloss 20-60GU), supporting customized appearance (such as anti-slip texture, frosted texture).
Processing performance
Casting process adaptability: It is molded by mold casting and curing (curing time 6-12 hours), suitable for manufacturing complex-shaped parts (such as special-shaped seals, customized shock-absorbing blocks), and waste materials can be partially recycled (downgraded after crushing).
Secondary processing friendly: It supports cutting (CNC engraving), stamping, bonding (special polyurethane glue is required) and surface spraying (such as UV varnish to improve wear resistance).
Other characteristics
Lightweight: Density 1.05-1.15g/cm³ (70%-80% lighter than metal), suitable for weight-sensitive applications (such as drone parts, sports equipment).
Sound insulation and shock absorption: The loss factor tanδ>0.4 (higher than ordinary rubber), can effectively absorb vibration energy (noise reduction 20-30dB) and impact energy (such as industrial equipment shock-absorbing base can reduce vibration transmission rate>80%).
