Mechanical Manufacturing and General Equipment

• Bearings and Bushings: Self-lubricating PA6 sheets are used in conveyor belt rollers (such as those in mines and ports) and motor support bushings (such as those in fans and water pumps). With a coefficient of friction of only 0.15-0.25 (compared to 0.3-0.4 for ordinary metals), they operate for extended periods without the need for additional lubricant (with a service life 2-3 times that of metal bearings).

• Gears and Racks: Lightly loaded gears (such as those in home appliance transmission components and office equipment gearboxes). Glass fiber reinforcement (15%-30%) provides a bending strength of ≥100 MPa and wear resistance approaching that of bronze (wear loss ≤0.08 cm³/(1.61 km)).

• Slides and Guides: Machine tool table slides (such as those in CNC milling machines) and guide rails in automated production lines (such as those in food packaging machinery). They are self-lubricating and impact-resistant (suitable for high-speed reciprocating motion).

Automotive Industry

• Interior Parts: Standard PA6 sheets are used for instrument panel brackets and door trim panels. They offer high toughness (impact resistance and resistance to shattering) and are easily molded into complex curved surfaces (injection molding in one step).

• Engine Peripheral Components: High-temperature-resistant reinforced PA6 sheets (glass fiber content 20%-40%) are used for thermostat housings (resistant to coolant temperatures of 90-100°C) and fan blades (continuous operating temperature of 100°C), replacing aluminum alloys to reduce weight (over 30% reduction).

• Transmission Auxiliary Parts: Clutch release bearings (lower-cost alternative to nylon 66) and transmission shift forks (self-lubricating, reducing wear).

• Electronic Equipment Housings: Standard PA6 sheets are used for computer cases and printer housings. They offer excellent insulation (volume resistivity ≥ 10⁴ Ω·cm) and are easily paintable (surface gloss ≥ 80 GU).

• Electrical insulation: Used in switch panels and cable connector protection boxes, withstanding voltage breakdown (power frequency withstand voltage ≥ 15 kV/mm).

• Precision components: Glass fiber-reinforced PA6 sheets (30%-50%) are used in connector housings and sensor brackets (such as temperature sensors), offering high dimensional stability (water absorption remains stable at approximately 1.8%).
