Production Process Flow

Glass wool production employs the centrifugal blowing method, with the process flow closely corresponding to the equipment. The specific steps are as follows:

‌Melting and Centrifugation‌: Molten glass flows through a nozzle plate to form a high-temperature stream, which enters a high-speed rotating centrifuge. Under centrifugal force, this stream is dispersed into radial fine strands.‌

‌Fiberization and Curing‌: Under the action of a flame, the fine streams are drawn into fibers. After applying a resin-based binder, the material undergoes mat formation and curing.‌

‌Molding and Cutting‌: The cured material is cut into products of various specifications and dimensions, such as glass wool boards or mats. The entire process is continuous and mechanized.‌

Production Capacity: Equipment can be customized to meet user requirements. Annual production lines with a capacity of 10,000 tons meet the needs of many manufacturers, while smaller-scale equipment is suitable for cost-sensitive small-scale producers.
