Higmild®-Q80L Features

Higmild®-Q80L is a Quaternium-80 and Propylene Glycol conditioning ingredient for hair and personal care formulations. It helps improve wet and dry combability, softness, hair shine and antistatic performance while providing a clean conditioning feel with low deposition. Better softness and gloss give the hair a smoother, high shine finish. Q80L has good compatibility and provides conditioning with a clean feel and low deposition.

Higmild®-Q80L Applications

Q80L is used in clear shampoos, shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and intensive hair treatments. For shampoos, the typical use level is 0.10–0.80%. Conditioners and hair treatments normally use 0.30–2.50%. Beyond hair care, Q80L can be added to rinse-off personal care products such as body washes and facial cleansers, where it leaves cleansed skin feeling smooth and moisturized.

Typical Customer Needs

Q80L is worth considering when wet combing is still difficult, dry hair feels rough, or static remains a problem after washing. It also fits formulas where more softness and shine are wanted without noticeable buildup. For clear shampoos, conditioners or other rinse-off formulas with different conditioning requirements, we provide raw material customization and formulation application support.
