Amodimethicone, Steartrimonium Chloride and Isolaureth-6 are mostly widely used in cleansing and care products. They have the functions of moisturizing, smoothing and anti-static. When used in skin care products, caution is needed as Amodimethicone is a silicon-based component, which has good lubricity. Some skin types may feel gentle while others may have reactions. Steartrimonium Chloride and Isolaureth-6 are cationic surfactants and may cause dryness and mild irritation when used on the face.

Working principle

Amodimethicone is an amino silicone oil that can form a thin protective film on the surface of the hair, reducing hair roughness. It acts as a softening agent that enhances smoothness and luster. Steartrimonium Chloride is a cationic conditioner that plays a significant role in neutralizing the negative charge of the hair, reducing static electricity and tangles, making it easier to comb the hair. Isolaureth-6 is an emulsifier and also a surfactant aid. So the hair treatment silicone helps to distribute evenly and enhances the adhesion of the silicone oil and the cationic conditioner to the hair, making the hair smoother and shinier. This is a light beige-bluish liquid. Its main feature is to improve the combability of the hair, increase the softness and smoothness of the hair.

Amodimethicone, Steartrimonium Chloride, and Isolaureth-6 function as amino-functional silicones. Primarily utilized in personal care products, they enhance hair smoothness and reduce frizz. They are most commonly found in products such as shampoos and conditioners. Its addition range is 3.0-20%, with a specification of 200 kilograms per barrel.
