How Amodimethicone, Steartrimonium Chloride, and Isolaureth-6 Work

Amodimethicone, Steartrimonium Chloride, and Isolaureth-6 is a silicone oil emulsion and silicone elastomer blend. Amodimethicone is an amino-modified silicone oil that adsorbs onto negatively charged or damaged hair surfaces, forming a smooth protective film that enhances smoothness and shine. Steartrimonium Chloride is a cationic conditioner that helps the silicone oil deposit better on the hair through electrostatic interactions, thereby reducing static electricity and improving combability. Isolaureth-6 is a nonionic surfactant that helps the silicone oil to be stably and evenly dispersed in the product, achieving a smooth hair effect.

Shampoo and conditioner products containing Amodimethicone, Steartrimonium Chloride and Isolaureth-6 do not have UV protection properties. As a water-based silicone emulsion, they can protect hair from UV damage.
