What Is 358 Security Fence?
The name "358" refers to: 3 inches (76.2mm) horizontal x 0.5 inches (12.7mm) vertical x 8 gauge (4.0mm) wire. This dense mesh prevents climbing, cutting, and tampering.
Also known as prison mesh or anti-climb fence, 358 provides 91% fewer footholds than chain link. Each intersection is resistance-welded for rigidity.

Robust Post & Fixing System
Heavy-duty square posts (60-100mm) are hot-dip galvanized and powder coated. Panels overlap posts by min 75mm, secured with slotted clamp bars and M8 bolts.
Anti-theft stainless fixings prevent removal. Foundations require concrete footings (min 300mm dia. x 800mm depth).
Security Accessories & Integration
Add barbed wire arms, concertina razor wire, or cranked anti-climb brackets above the fence line. Brackets withstand significant upward force.
358 integrates with vibration sensors, fiber optic cables, CCTV, and access control gates. Open mesh maintains surveillance sightlines.
