The automotive drive shaft sleeve part is a compact, 304 stainless steel one-piece machined component. It has a hexagonal head (with a central transverse opening) at one end in order to attach the head with a key and secure the position, while the other end is a hollow cylinder having internal openings directed to fasten the screw to the transmission or to the central screw. An annular slot is formed in the middle of the coating to reduce the weight and serve as a housing for O-seals or sealing rings.
