Why are polyester coating systems superior? Outstanding Flexibility:Polyester resins possess a flexible molecular chain structure and a relatively low glass transition temperature (Tg); this allows them to effectively absorb stress during bending and deformation, thereby minimizing the risk of cracking. Strong Adhesion: They form a robust bond with metal substrates (such as cold-rolled steel or galvanized steel), and the interfacial adhesion is significantly enhanced when used in conjunction with chemical conversion films (e.g., phosphating layers).
