Product Overview

This heavy duty corrugated shipping box is built for loads that crush a standard single wall carton. We supply it in 3 ply (single wall) and 5 ply (double wall) constructions, in the RSC (Regular Slotted Container) style that most warehouses and 3PL providers already handle. If you are shipping machine parts, hardware, books, bottled goods or dense household items, the double wall version gives you roughly double the stacking strength of a single wall box at a modest cost increase.

Every box is made to your internal dimensions, so you are not paying to ship air. Tell us the product weight, the pallet pattern and how high the cartons will be stacked, and we will recommend the flute combination and board grade.

Choosing Between 3 Ply and 5 Ply

A 3 ply single wall board has one fluted layer between two liners. It handles most shipments under about 15 kg and stacks fine two pallets high. A 5 ply double wall board has two fluted layers and three liners. It costs more per box, but it resists corner crush and holds stacking strength in humid conditions, which matters if your cartons sit in a container for weeks.

Our rule of thumb: if the box will be stacked above shoulder height, or the contents are dense and sharp-edged, go double wall. If the contents are light and the cartons move fast, single wall is the better economics.

Sealing and Unitizing

Box strength is only as good as the closure. Pair these cartons with Packing / Carton Sealing Tape for the top and bottom seams, wrap the pallet with LLDPE Stretch Film so the load does not shift in transit, add Angle Board / Edge Protector on the four vertical corners before strapping, and finish with Packing Strap to lock the pallet down. Skipping the corner protection is the most common reason a strong box still arrives crushed.

Packaging, Lead Time and Delivery

Cartons are supplied flat-packed. Sample orders are charged at cost; the fee is credited back on the first bulk order.

• Sample lead time: about 5-7 working days after artwork confirmation.
• Bulk lead time: depends on order quantity and printing method, quoted per order.
• Shipment: flat-packed in bundles or on pallets to save container space.
• Artwork format: AI, PDF or CAD files preferred; our team checks dielines before production.
