Product Overview
A large folding corrugated carton for fruit packing, supplied at factory-direct pricing. The box folds flat for storage at the packhouse and assembles quickly on the line, which matters when you are packing to a harvest window rather than a production schedule.
Designed for wholesale fruit volumes: citrus, apple, pear, stone fruit and melon. We specify the board around the pack weight and the cold chain, and add ventilation where the fruit needs to breathe.

Designing for the Packhouse, Not Just the Pallet
A carton that stacks beautifully but takes forty seconds to assemble costs you more than the board saves. Fruit packing runs are seasonal and labour is the constraint. We build these cartons so one person can fold and load them without a second pair of hands, and so the empty cartons take up as little packhouse space as possible before use.
The other side is the pallet. Large fruit cartons that do not interlock waste container volume fast. Send us your pallet dimensions and target container load and we will size the carton footprint to make the numbers work.
Board Choice for Fruit
- Dry packed, short route: standard kraft single wall is fine.
- Washed or hydro-cooled: moisture-resistant board, or waxed if it sits wet.
- Chilled or frozen: specify the coating; untreated board will fail.
- Heavy loads such as melon: double wall and reinforced corners.
What Goes With It
Loose fruit usually goes into a bag inside the carton - see Produce & Roll Bags - and chilled loads get wrapped at pallet level with Food Wrap Film or LLDPE Stretch Film depending on the route.
