Black Color-Coated Steel (PCM): This material is produced by roll-coating a layer of black organic paint onto a metal substrate, followed by baking and curing. Its surface flatness is relatively inferior to that of laminated sheets, and its black finish is typically limited to a single, solid-color coating, resulting in weaker decorative appeal compared to laminated sheets. However, it offers lower production costs and higher manufacturing efficiency, and it can be welded and processed with ease. Conversely, its resistance to abrasion and scratches is inferior to that of laminated sheets, making scratches more visible. It is predominantly used for internal components or non-decorative surfaces where aesthetic requirements are less critical—such as refrigerator side panels, washing machine casings, outdoor air conditioner units, and small appliance housings—benefiting from a mature manufacturing process, low production costs, and a more competitive price point.
