For high-volume production of multi-color 3D labels or trademarks, the following machinery setup is the industry standard:

1. Automatic Silicone Dispensing Machine

Before molding, the liquid silicone (LSR) needs to be precisely applied to the carrier film or mold.

• Precision Multi-Color: Systems with 12 to 18 colors allow for complex 3D designs without manual layering.

• Micro-Injection: Essential for fine details in logos and small text on garment labels or patches.

2. Vacuum Silicone Molding Machine (Hydraulic Press, hydraulic machine, vulcanizing press)

This is the core machine used to solidify the silicone and bond it to the heat transfer base.

• Tonnage: Usually a 30-ton to 50-ton hydraulic press is sufficient for label production.

• Vacuum System: A built-in vacuum pump is critical to ensure there are no air bubbles in the 3D details of the label.

• 2RT/3RT Mold Opening: Look for machines with automatic mold-ejection features (like a 2-roll-turn system) to increase production speed and protect the delicate labels during de-molding.

The Production Workflow

1. Dispensing: The machine drops liquid silicone into the aluminum or brass mold.

2. Transfer Base: A heat transfer film or fabric is placed over the mold.

3. Vulcanizing: The molding machine applies heat (approx. 170°C to 200°C) and pressure for 30–60 seconds.

4. Cooling & Peeling: The finished 3D sticker is removed, ready to be heat-pressed onto garments.

• Precision Control: The hydraulic system allows for "slow-speed clamping," which prevents the liquid silicone from being squeezed out of the mold (flashing) before it cures.

• Vacuum Function: Most high-end 30-ton units include a vacuum hood that descends before the final press to ensure the 3D sharp edges of the logo are perfectly formed without air pockets.
