Strip tillage machine

With the development of conservation agriculture, more and more growers are looking for ways to preserve crop residue while creating a better seedbed for planting. Strip tillage is designed to achieve this goal by cultivating only the seed row while leaving the residue between rows undisturbed. This minimizes soil disturbance, reduces moisture evaporation and soil erosion, and provides an ideal environment for crop establishment.

This machine is designed by AGRODAHUA engineers according to modern agronomic requirements. The model shown is DH-3/90, featuring three planting rows, 600-millimeter row spacing, and a 300-millimeter cultivated strip width. Each row has an independent residue-clearing unit that effectively clears residue within a 6-centimeter seed zone. It is suitable for 100–130 horsepower tractors, and the fertilizer application rate can be adjusted electrically from 300 to 1,200 kilograms per hectare.

The specially designed L-shaped rotary blades operate at speeds exceeding 400 rpm, delivering efficient residue incorporation and thorough soil cultivation. This creates a well-prepared seedbed while promoting improved soil structure and optimal conditions for crop establishment.

The fertilizer opener places nutrients at a depth of 20–25 cm, promoting efficient nutrient uptake and stronger root development. Each fertilizer tube is equipped with a blockage monitoring system to detect interruptions in fertilizer flow and ensure accurate, continuous application.

The 380 mm press wheel effectively levels and firms the cultivated soil, creating a smooth, uniform seedbed that promotes consistent planting depth and improved seed-to-soil contact for even crop emergence.
