We select local Yunnan green vegetables fermented in clay jars to create crisp, long-boiling sour mustard, paired with balanced Sichuan peppercorn mala spicy sauce. The full 360g pack contains 3 independent divided sachets: fermented sour vegetable packet, compound seasoning packet and fish tenderizing powder, which simplifies cooking without extra ingredients.

With official halal certification, this multi-purpose seasoning is ideal for overseas Muslim families, Asian grocery retailers and Chinese catering restaurants. Besides classic mala sour fish, it also makes delicious sour beef and sour vegetable hot pot.
Raw material adopts Yunnan local green vegetables fermented alone in earthen jars via natural lactic acid fermentation. The sour vegetable stays crisp and full tangy flavor after long simmering, no soft mushy texture.
Blended premium Sichuan green & red peppercorns and mild chili oil, forming layered taste of bright sour, gentle numbing and moderate spicy heat, without single overpowering harsh flavor.
Step 1: Slice 2–3 jin fish fillets, mix evenly with the whole fish tenderizing powder packet and marinate for 10 minutes to keep tender texture.

Step 2: Stir-fry all sour mustard packet in a pot for 1 minute to release sour aroma, add 1.2L boiling water and pour in mala seasoning sauce, simmer 3 mins.

Step 3: Put marinated fish fillets into the soup, simmer gently for 4 minutes until fully cooked.

Step 4: Garnish with coriander or chili as preferred, ready to serve with rice or noodles.
