SKYSIL SL-400 SILICA POWDER FOR PLASTIC COATING

In plastic coating industry, the balance between matte effect and surface properties will affect directly the final product quality and durability.

SL-400 silica matting agent is mainly designed for plastic substrate like ABS, PC, PVC and so on. Our SL-400 's chemical properties are equal

to Grace C503 and INEOS SILICAS HP230, which provides solve solution of matte coating.

1. International benchmark performance matching

SL-400 is completely equivalent to Grace C503 and INEOS HP230 in terms of core indicators such as matting efficiency, dispersibility, and

scratch resistance through strict formula design and process optimization, supporting seamless substitution of imported products and reducing

supply chain risks.

2. Special surface treatment process

The silicone-acrylic composite coating technology is used to enhance compatibility with plastic coating resins (such as PU and UV systems) to

avoid "whitening" of the coating or particle agglomeration;

The surface hardness reaches 2H (pencil hardness), anti-fingerprint and wipe-resistant, meeting the needs of high-contact frequency scenarios

such as electronic products and automotive interiors.

3. Precise matting and process adaptation

The particle size distribution is narrow (D50: 4-6 microns), and the addition amount of 3%-6% can achieve precise control of gloss 10°-60°;

Excellent high temperature resistance (withstands 120℃/1h baking), and is suitable for UV curing, thermal curing and other processes.

Application value

Chemical corrosion resistance: Passed the wipe test with common reagents such as alcohol and sweat (500 times without wear) to ensure the

durability of the coating;

Fast dispersion: The pre-dispersion process reduces the grinding time by 30%, improving the production efficiency and batch stability of the coating;
