Armcoltherm 400 (12℃~400℃) Heat Transfer Fluid

Armcoltherm is similar to Therminol VP-1. With a freezing point of 12°C and an atmospheric boiling point of 257°C, it is the earliest synthetic heat transfer oil with a wide range of industrial applications in the world and a maximum temperature of 400°C, with excellent thermal stability and heat transfer performance. It is suitable for 12°C~ 400°C liquid phase heating system or 257°C~400°C gas phase heating system. It is mainly used for high-temperature heat transfer applications such as polyester/nylon/polypropylene chemical fiber polymerization, spinning, texturing machine hot box, naphthalene phthalic anhydride, melamine, polyoxymethylene production, CPS solar thermal power generation, etc.

                             Typical physical properties

As the heat transfer medium of industrial oil, heat transfer oil has the following characteristics: it can obtain very high operating temperature under almost normal pressure. That is, it can greatly reduce the operating pressure and safety requirements of the high temperature heating system, improve the reliability of the system and equipment; it can meet the process requirements of heating and cooling at different temperatures in a wider temperature range, or use the same heat transfer oil in the same system to achieve the process requirements of high temperature heating and low temperature cooling at the same time. That is, it can reduce the complexity of the system and operation, omit the water treatment system and equipment, improve the thermal efficiency of the system, and reduce the maintenance workload of equipment and pipelines.
