SKYSIL HF-687 SILICA MATTING AGENT FOR COIL COATING

In the industrial coating of coil coating, the balance between matting efficiency and coating surface performance is a technical difficulty. HF-687

matting agent provides a cost-effective matte solution for coil coating with its large particle size design of 10-11 microns and surface optimization

process, taking into account both production efficiency and terminal quality.

- Large particle size advantage (10-11 microns): HF-687 uses narrowly distributed large particle size silica to significantly improve the matting

efficiency. Under the same gloss (adjustable from 20° to 70°), the addition amount is 20%-30% lower than that of traditional products, reducing

the formulation cost. The large particle structure simultaneously enhances the wear resistance of the coating, with a friction coefficient of ≤0.18

(ASTM D1894), which resists mechanical wear during coil processing.

- Surface dense coating technology: The particle surface is treated through the organic silicon-wax composite modification process to improve the

compatibility with polyester, fluorocarbon and other resins, avoid coating "white fog" or particle agglomeration, and ensure that the surface of the

coil plate is fine and uniform after coating, and the touch is smooth.

- Adaptability to harsh environments: High temperature baking resistance (240℃/20min), no yellowing and no migration of the coating, suitable for

coil continuous coating production line;

- Excellent anti-ultraviolet aging performance (QUV 2000 hours gloss retention rate ＞80%), meeting the long-term weathering requirements of outdoor

buildings and industrial equipment;

- Salt spray resistance ≥1000 hours (ASTM B117), suitable for coastal high humidity environment.
