Common mode inductance design
In practical applications, due to different use scenarios, the common mode inductors required are also different, so we need to design appropriate products according to the actual application scenarios and other factors affecting the performance of common mode inductors. The following requirements should be considered when designing:

1. Common mode inductor selection
Common mode inductor is a very important electronic component, which plays a very important role in many electronic products. Because there are many models of common mode inductors, selection is a difficult thing for many people. The correct selection is directly related to the quality of electronic products.
First of all, it is necessary to clarify the functional requirements of the corresponding electronic products on the inductor: there are many types of inductors, and the functions of different inductors will have certain differences. Before choosing the inductor type, determine what the functional requirements of the inductor are, such as: filtering or energy storage, or direct current DC.

2. Common mode inductor structure appearance
Common mode inductance structure mainly includes vertical common mode inductance and horizontal common mode inductance. The main difference between horizontal and vertical common mode inductors is height, the height of horizontal common mode inductors is relatively lower than the height of vertical common mode inductors, and some common mode inductors will exceed the original space if they stand up, so only horizontal ones can be used. That is to say, the general use of horizontal common mode inductors is because the height of the vertical common mode inductor is too high.
The common inductors of standard products can be provided in both vertical and horizontal structural forms

3. Mode inductor package
The package size of the common mode inductor directly determines whether the selected inductor can be installed on the circuit board. If the inductance package size is too large, it must not be installed on the circuit board; If the selected inductive package size is too small, even if it can be installed on the circuit board, it may be unstable, and even the possibility of falling off. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate common mode inductor package size according to the actual application scenario.
