Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy material with intentional corrosion resistance and high-temperature properties. It is widely used in marine engineering, chemical industry, aerospace, and nuclear energy fields. This alloy has intentional corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali. It can resist corrosion from neutral solutions, water, seawater, air, organic compounds, etc., and usually does not cause stress corrosion cracking. Moreover, it has good machining performance.

FEATURE

It has strong corrosion resistance and can remain stable in seawater containing chloride ions for a long time. It can withstand the erosion of acidic media in chemical equipment.
It possesses excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, giving it unique advantages in marine platforms, chemical pipelines, and transportation equipment.
It can also maintain good corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments, effectively avoiding corrosion and oxidation.
In alternating loads or high-frequency vibrations, it can still maintain a high fatigue strength.
When bearing loads, it has good plasticity and can adapt to large deformations without cracking.
