SKYSIL SW-300 SILICA POWDER FOR INDUSTRIAL COATING

SW-300 is specially designed for water-based coating. Our SW-300 silica matting agent can perfectly make balance between environmental

protection needs and industrial protection properties.Suitable for high-end water-based coating systems in the fields of engineering machinery,

rail transit, steel structure anti-corrosion, etc.

1. Organic wax treatment on surface

- Enhanced hydrophobicity:The wax layer forms a dense protective film with a contact angle of ≥105°, which blocks water vapor penetration

and improves the weather resistance of the coating in a humid environment (gloss change ≤5% after QUV aging for 1000h).

- Optimized compatibility: Perfectly compatible with resins such as water-based epoxy and water-based polyurethane, avoiding agglomeration

or sedimentation of matting agents, and ensuring the storage stability of the coating for more than 12 months.

- Silky feel and scratch resistance: Wax treatment gives the coating a delicate touch, improves wear resistance by 30% (Taber test, CS-10

wheel, 1000 turns weight loss ≤20mg), and stabilizes pencil hardness ≥1H.

2. Precise matte and environmental performance

- Particle size control (4.0-5.5μm): Through the micron-level rough surface scattering light, an adjustable matte effect of 20-60GU (60°) is

achieved, which is suitable for diversified needs from semi-matte to full matte.

- Quick-drying adaptability: optimize oil absorption value (220-260g/100g), reduce the impact on the drying speed of water-based coatings,

and improve production line efficiency.

3. Long-term industrial protection

- Anti-pollution and easy to clean: wax-treated surface reduces the adhesion of pollutants, and maintains matte consistency after 50 times

of alcohol wiping.
