This automatic thermal high-temperature formation system was developed with a smart production equipment design based on lithium-ion battery research and development. The equipment integrates the core technology of battery formation equipment, achieving full automation from device placement, thermal pressure formation, to capacity classification. The equipment uses a dual-axis module robot with precise material allocation, an automatic buffer basket design allowing a dynamic cycle of three full baskets and three empty ones, greatly improving delivery efficiency. The unique horizontal thermal macroscopic fixture for the formation has cylinder pressure closed-loop control, allowing a surface pressure adjustment of 0.1-0.5Mpa draws. The independent temperature control system is effectively designed to provide a constant temperature environment of 25-85+C±3C, ensuring battery performance consistency. The equipment integrates open-circuit voltage (OCV) testing and tab inspection functions, automatically sorting to buffer areas defective products minimizing manual intervention and reducing failure rates. Additionally, the equipment is multi-model compatible with a 3-hour fixture adjustment time to fulfill multiple requirements.
