The core function of the metal briquetting press is to forcibly cold-press loose metal chips (such as aluminum chips and cast iron chips) into high-density briquettes through an ultra-high pressure hydraulic system, thereby realizing volume reduction of more than 10:1; Its deep significance lies not only in greatly reducing the cost of storage and logistics, but also in discharging most of the cutting oil through physical extrusion, thus significantly improving the metal yield and reducing carbon emissions in the smelting process, which is the key technology for industrial enterprises to realize the vision of resource closed-loop and "zero waste".
Pressurization logic: three-stage "stepped" hydraulic thrust control
In order to cope with the non-linear change of metal chips from loose to extremely dense, the high-efficiency chip briquetting machine adopts precise sectional pressure control.
-Primary pre-pressing stage: The pressure head is pushed forward at high speed and low pressure to quickly empty the air between the chips and preliminarily shape the fluffy chip mass.
-Secondary densification phase: When the displacement sensor detects a surge in resistance, the system automatically switches to the medium pressure mode. This stage is the critical period of plastic deformation of metal chips, and the cutting fluid is forced out under this pressure and recovered through the die gap.
-Final pressure maintaining stage: The hydraulic pump station outputs the rated maximum pressure (usually up to 31.5MPa) and maintains it for 1-3 seconds at the peak pressure.
-Mechanical significance: The pressure holding process can ensure that the mechanical engagement between the metal particles is more stable, and prevent the briquettes from cracking due to the release of internal stress after demoulding.
Molding process: high balance "two-way pressure" structure
When dealing with difficult materials (such as hard steel chips or very light aluminum powder), the traditional one-way extrusion can easily lead to uneven briquette density (very dense near the end of the indenter and loose at the end).
-Synchronous voltage logic: The equipment adopts the structure of synchronous force generation of the main cylinder and the back pressure cylinder, so that the metal chips are pressed from the upper and lower (or front and back) directions at the same time.
-Technical value: Bidirectional compression ensures the uniformity of the overall density of the briquette and eliminates the internal stress stratification. The briquette block produced by this process has a very high drop strength and can maintain its structural integrity even during the repeated transfer of the steel grabbing machine.
-Floating die compensation: The die frame has a certain floating space in the extrusion process, which can automatically offset the eccentric load force caused by uneven material delivery and protect the die from lateral shear damage.
