Working Principle of Hydraulic Briquetting Machine:
1. Feeding: The collected scrap metal chips are fed into the compression chamber of the cake press through feeding devices (such as hopper, conveyor belt, etc.).
2. Compression moulding: the press head in the press cavity, driven by hydraulic or mechanical power, applies high pressure (usually the pressure can be tens to hundreds of tonnes) to the metal chips, so that the air between the metal chips is squeezed out and the particles are tightly combined with each other.
3. Demoulding and discharging: when the pressure reaches the set value and is kept for a certain time, the press head retracts, and the moulded metal cake is discharged from the press cavity under the action of mechanical structure or ejector device, completing a working cycle.
