Classification
According to their usage and performance requirements, PP C sheets can be divided into the following types:
Universal type: Standard temperature resistance (-20 ℃~120 ℃), suitable for general industrial and civilian scenarios.
Enhanced type: Adding glass fiber (GF) or mineral fillers to enhance mechanical strength and heat resistance (temperature resistance up to 140 ℃).
Flame retardant type: with added flame retardants (such as bromine and phosphorus), oxygen index ≥ 28, in compliance with UL94 V-0 standard.
Conductive type: added with carbon black or metal fibers, surface resistance ≤ 10 ⁶ Ω, used in anti-static scenarios.
Food grade: Compliant with FDA and EC 1935 standards, used in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries.
Product Features
The molecular chain structure is regular, with high crystallinity, giving the board higher rigidity and heat resistance. Low density, about 0.9-0.91 g/cm ³, light weight but high strength. Chemical corrosion resistance: Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, suitable for chemical environments, with high strength and toughness, tensile strength ≥ 30 MPa, bending modulus ≥ 1200 MPa, and better impact resistance than ordinary plastic sheets. It has temperature resistance, with a long-term use temperature range of -20 ℃ to+120 ℃, and a short-term tolerance of up to 140 ℃. Water absorption rate ≤ 0.03%, high dimensional stability, and not easily deformed. Easy to cut, drill, and weld (hot air welding, laser welding), supports CNC precision machining. Smooth surface, low friction coefficient (μ ≈ 0.2), easy to clean and maintain. Odorless and non-toxic, compliant with food grade and environmental certification standards such as FDA and RoHS. Excellent flame retardant performance (oxygen index ≥ 17), meeting UL94 V-2 fire protection standards.
Unlike other plastics, it maintains its shape and structure under varying temperatures, ensuring long-term reliability. This makes it particularly useful in environments where temperature fluctuations are common. Its resistance to impact and abrasion adds to its versatility, allowing it to withstand heavy use without showing signs of wear and tear.
