Nylatron® MC901 Rod Blue Nylon Casting Rod
 
MC 901 rod is a high-performance alloy material based on nickel based or iron nickel based alloy systems, made through precision melting and hot working processes. Its chemical composition has been optimized and designed, usually containing alloying elements such as chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), tungsten (W), niobium (Nb), titanium (Ti), and supplemented with trace elements such as boron (B) and zirconium (Zr) to enhance its performance.

Features:

High temperature performance

Maintain high strength and creep resistance in high temperature environments of 650-1100 ℃, suitable for long-term high-temperature service scenarios.

Excellent oxidation resistance, forming a dense oxide film on the surface, delaying material degradation.

Corrosion resistance

Has high tolerance to oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid, sulfuric acid), chloride environments, and seawater.

Resistant to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC), especially suitable for chemical and marine environments.

Mechanical performance

High yield strength (≥ 500 MPa) and tensile strength (≥ 800 MPa), combined with good toughness.

Excellent anti fatigue performance, with fatigue life increased by more than 30% compared to traditional alloys.

Processing performance

It can be formed through forging, rolling, welding and other processes, and its performance is stable after heat treatment.

The strength of the welded joint matches the base material, supporting the manufacturing of complex structures.

Dimensional stability

Low coefficient of thermal expansion, suitable for precision components, reducing deformation caused by temperature differences.More durable than standard nylon for high-friction use.
