Flame Retardant PA6 GF Sheet Material
Product Description
FR PA6 GF sheet is a high-performance engineering plastic sheet made from nylon 6 (PA6) as the substrate, reinforced with glass fiber (GF) and modified with flame retardant technology.
Substrate: PA6 Nylon, a semi crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, and chemical stability.
Reinforcement material: Glass fiber (GF), typically containing 10% -40% by weight, significantly enhances the strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability of the board.
Flame retardant performance: By adding flame retardants such as bromine, phosphorus, or halogen-free flame retardants, UL94 V-0, V-1, or 5VA levels can be achieved, meeting fire safety standards.
Surface treatment: The surface is smooth and flat, and can be customized with matte, frosted or textured surfaces according to needs.
Color: Common colors include black and gray, and customized colors can also be provided (flame retardant compatibility needs to be confirmed).
Characteristics
Mechanical performance
High strength and rigidity, with a tensile strength of 150-200 MPa and a bending strength of 200-300 MPa.
Excellent impact resistance, with a notch impact strength of up to 5-10 kJ/m ² (specific value varies depending on the glass fiber content).
Flame retardant performance
Complies with UL94 V-0 or higher standards, with low smoke and low toxicity during combustion, and meets environmental requirements.
The hot deformation temperature (HDT) reaches 220-250 ℃, and the high temperature resistance is excellent.
Chemical stability
Resistant to oil and solvents (such as gasoline and lubricants), and resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (avoid strong oxidants).
Low water absorption rate (about 0.5% -1%), high dimensional stability.
Processing performance
Easy to cut, drill, CNC machine, supports laser marking and surface treatment (such as electroplating, spraying).
The melting temperature range is 220-260 ℃, suitable for injection molding, compression molding, or extrusion molding.
Environmental friendliness
We can provide halogen-free flame retardant versions that comply with environmental regulations such as RoHS.
