White PTFE rods are solid cylindrical plastic profiles made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin through molding or extrusion. PTFE is a fully fluorinated polymer material with unique chemical inertness, extremely high temperature resistance and low friction coefficient, and is known as the "King of Plastics". White PTFE rods are usually pure white or milky white (without adding masterbatch), with a smooth surface and non-toxicity. They are suitable for fields with extremely high requirements for chemical stability, temperature resistance and low friction.
Color: Standard is pure white or milky white (light color customization can be achieved by adding masterbatch, but it may affect the purity).
Structure: Solid rods, usually ranging from 4mm to 260mm in diameter.
Surface state: Smooth and flat, surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm.

Chemical Inertness
It can withstand almost all strong acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid), strong alkalis (such as sodium hydroxide) and organic solvents (such as acetone, benzene). It does not decompose even when boiled in aqua regia. It is suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical and other highly corrosive environments.
Temperature Adaptation Range
The long-term use temperature is -200℃ to +260℃, and the short-term temperature resistance can reach 300℃. It does not become brittle at low temperatures and does not soften at high temperatures. It is suitable for extreme environments (such as refrigeration equipment and high-temperature furnace parts).
Friction Coefficient
The dry friction coefficient is only 0.04-0.10 (usually 0.1-1.5 for metal friction pairs). It has excellent self-lubricating properties and can achieve low-friction movement without adding lubricating oil. It is suitable for high-precision seals and bearing parts.
Electrical Insulation
The volume resistivity is >10¹⁸ Ω·cm, the dielectric strength is 18-25 kV/mm, and the dielectric constant is stable (2.0-2.2). It is suitable for high-frequency and high-voltage insulation parts (such as cable sheaths and connectors).
High purity and non-toxicity
White PTFE rods have no added fillers or pigments (standard type), comply with FDA, USP Class VI food and medical grade certification, and can be used in food processing, medical devices and other scenes that come into contact with the human body or food.
Aging and UV resistance
It will not deteriorate in long-term use under ultraviolet rays, ozone and harsh climates, and has a service life of more than 20 years. It is suitable for outdoor or high-radiation environments (such as photovoltaic equipment seals).
Easy processing and plasticity
It can be formed by mechanical processing such as turning, drilling, milling, etc., and can also be cold-pressed and sintered into complex shapes (such as special-shaped seals), which is suitable for customized needs.
