Our Y81 series Metal Baler Machine is the core equipment for hydraulically driven, horizontally fed and compressed scrap metal recycling, which can cold-press the scrap steel, scrap aluminum, scrap copper, light and thin materials, automobile shells, oil drums, etc. Into cuboid/octagonal blocks to facilitate storage, transportation and smelting recycling, and is suitable for large-scale processing scenarios such as recycling stations, steel mills, dismantling yards, etc.

Core principles and processes of Scrap Metal Baler：

1. Feeding: grab machine/conveyor/manual feeding of bulk materials into the bin;

2. Door closing and locking → prepressing/side pressing and shaping → main pressing and final pressing and pressure maintaining for 3 – 5 seconds;

3. Binding (steel wire/steel strip);

4. Side pushing/turning/front pushing to complete a cycle; full hydraulic drive, manual/PLC automatic control. Advantages: convenient feeding, high efficiency of continuous operation, regular package, suitable for large tonnage; can be equipped with conveyor lines to achieve automation; flexible installation, some without anchor bolts, can be equipped with diesel generators when power is off.

Selection and procurement proposal of Steel Baler:

1. Specify incoming material type and daily handling capacity: light and thin material ≥ 300 t, thick material/automobile shell ≥ 400 t; daily handling capacity ≥ 20 t is preferred for fully automatic + conveying line.

2. Determine the size and density of the lump: customized according to the requirements of transport vehicles and steel mills, the higher the density, the lower the freight.

3. Optional configuration: PLC automatic, safety interlock, oil temperature cooling, side pushing/turning package, steel wire/steel band binding; complete machine and quality assurance of large factory are preferred.

4. Site and supporting facilities: reserve feeding area, packing area, bundling area and maintenance space; provide grabbing machine/conveyor, hydraulic oil, filter element, steel wire/steel belt and emergency power supply.

Key points of installation and operation and maintenance:

1. Installation: level the foundation, fix the machine body; connect the hydraulic oil and electricity; adjust the pressure, stroke, pressure holding time and interlock protection.

2. Operation and maintenance: change the oil and filter element regularly, check the seal and oil pipe; keep the oil temperature at 35 – 55 ℃; do a good job of safety training, and strictly prohibit illegal operation.
