Cutting Metal Shears Recycling Shear Scrap Shearing Machine
Gantry Shear (Scrap Metal Shear), also known as Hydraulic Sheet Cutting Machine, Scrap Shear, is a kind of hydraulically driven heavy cold shearing equipment, named for its "gantry" frame structure. It is mainly used to cut large, long or special-shaped scrap metals (such as scrap steel, scrap automobiles, steel plates, steel pipes, etc.) Into small pieces suitable for transportation and smelting, and is one of the core equipment of the scrap metal recycling industry chain.
Core working principle of Scrap Metal Cutting Shears:
1. Feeding stage: the scrap metal is fed into the silo by the loader/grab, and the material is pushed to the shearing area by the pushing device.
2. Pressing material fixation: the pressing cylinder (2-8, depending on the tonnage) presses the material downward to prevent slipping or bouncing during shearing.
3. shear operation: that main shearing cylinder drive the upper knife rest and the upper blade to move downwards to form 100-1800 tons of shear force with the lower blade to complete the cutting.
4. Discharge stage: the sheared material automatically falls into the discharge port, and the pushing device is reset to prepare for the next cycle.
5. Intelligent control: The PLC system automatically completes the whole process of "feeding-pressing-cutting-discharging", and supports manual/automatic dual-mode operation.
6. Key technology: oblique shearing design (shearing angle 3-8 °) reduces the demand for shearing force and improves the flatness of the section; double-cylinder synchronization technology ensures the shearing accuracy and avoids the eccentric load wear of the blad.
Core application areas of Metal Cutting Shears:
1. Scrap steel recycling industry: process scrap automobiles, construction scrap steel and industrial waste, and cut them to 300-600 mm standard charge size.
2. Automobile disassembly industry: cut the body, frame, engine shell, etc., and cooperate with the crusher to improve the recycling efficiency.
3. Metallurgical industry: cut billets, steel plate residues and unqualified profiles, and provide qualified recycled raw materials.
4. Manufacturing industry: deal with the leftover materials and waste materials in the production process to realize the recycling of resources.
5. Non-ferrous metal recycling: cut scrap copper, scrap aluminum, stainless steel, etc., to improve transportation density and smelting efficiency.
