Four independent servo drives, precise tension control: Four servo motors respectively control unwinding, winding, center drum and cutting knife. Compared with traditional pneumatic or single-motor mechanical structures, it can achieve millisecond-level dynamic tension adjustment. It is particularly suitable for materials like aluminum foil that are prone to deformation and wrinkling, as well as uneven thickness issues of plastic films. This significantly reduces the waste rate.
Central drum type + surface rewinding structure, balancing speed and accuracy: The central drum provides stable support, and the surface contact rollers (press rollers) are driven synchronously to wind the material. This design can effectively prevent the uneven cutting edges of aluminum foil due to inertia sliding during high-speed operation (commonly 200-500 meters per minute), and also avoid the uneven winding of plastic films due to frictional static electricity attraction.
Adaptation to ultra-thin/ultra-wide material: Due to the extremely wide controllable torque range of the servo motor, this machine can stably handle 6-15 micrometer aluminum foil or BOPP/PET/PE films (common widths ranging from 1.2 to 2.8 meters). The rigid structure of the central drum can also suppress the lateral shaking (warping) of ultra-wide materials during high-speed operation, reducing deviation.
Automatic reel change and rapid waste removal: Combined with the automatic feeding device and the waste edge air conveying system, the servo-driven unwinding arm can seamlessly connect to a new material reel without stopping the machine. At the same time, the aluminum foil scraps or film edge materials generated during shearing can be immediately removed to prevent blockage of the cutting wheel (shaver/circular cutter), which is crucial for aluminum foil composite plants that require continuous production.
Digital parameter adjustment for human-machine interaction: Multiple sets of formulas (such as different aluminum foil thicknesses, film types, and winding tension) can be preset on the touch screen. The servo parameters will automatically match. When starting, there is no need to manually adjust the gap between the pressure rollers or the angle of the cutting knife like in a mechanical slitting machine. The change-over time can be shortened to 3-5 minutes.
Summary: The core commercial value of this configuration lies in - maintaining high speed (typically ≥ 300m/min) while keeping the alignment error of the aluminum foil on the shaft within ±0.5mm, and without the need for frequent machine downtime to clean the aluminum chips at the cutting knife (as the servo variable pulse control avoids mechanical overload cutting). This advantage is particularly significant for high-value double-zero aluminum foil or optical-grade films.
However, it should be noted that: If your material is soft PVC or contains a high adhesive layer (such as pressure-sensitive adhesive film), the contact rollers for surface rewinding may cause indentation. In this case, it is necessary to confirm whether the equipment is equipped with the option for gap floating rollers.
