Materials

1. **ABS / ABS with flame retardants**

Advantages: Good flow properties, smooth surface, good toughness, relatively cheap, easy assembly;
Disadvantages: Working temperature not more than 80℃;
Usage: Housings of indoor signal connectors, covers for dust, non-high-temperature areas, covers for connectors, snap fasteners of plastic;
Unsuitable for: Reflow soldering on SMT, connector covers in cabin high-temperature conditions.

2. **PC/ABS**

Increased temperature resistance and impact resistance make it a good material for connector housing with high appearance demands and subjected to certain cold and heat cycles.

3. **PA66 GF30**

Strong, wear-resistant, resistant to 120℃ of temperature. Suitable for car and industrial control connector housing and elements which are subjected to constant mechanical stresses during inserting/extracting; disadvantages - it has a tendency to absorb moisture, size fluctuations.

4. **PBT+GF**

Good insulation, low level of moisture absorbing, universal rubber cores and terminal bases of connector; good cost-to-performance ratio.

5. **LCP Liquid Polymer**

Very low shrinkage coefficient, high-temperature reflow soldering resistant, extremely small pitch precision rubber cores, high-speed signal connectors, SMT surface mount connectors (premium).
