Steel chip cake machine is suitable for processing steel chips of various shapes:
1. Filamentous steel filings Filamentous steel filings are a more common form of steel filings. For example, in the process of turning, grinding and other mechanical processing produced thin filamentary steel chips, these steel chips usually have a certain degree of flexibility. Steel chip cake machine can effectively compress the filamentary steel chips. When it works, the filamentary steel chips are squeezed together by a pressure device, and the loose state is gradually changed to form a tight cake structure. The space between the filamentary steel chips is gradually filled during the compression process, which increases the density of the steel chips and facilitates subsequent storage and transportation.
2. Curly steel chips After some processing operations, steel chips will appear curly. This may be due to the way the tool moves during cutting or the characteristics of the material itself. Steel chips, like those produced when drilling with twist drills, tend to curl. The steel chip machine can process these curly steel chips. The press plate or mold of the cake beater will exert pressure on the curled steel chips, so that they are flattened and compacted within their elastic limits, and finally form a regular cake shape. Because the coiled steel chips themselves have a certain shape complexity, the pressure system of the cake beater can adjust the pressure and compression speed according to its characteristics to ensure that the steel chips can be evenly compressed. 3. Granular steel chips When steel chips are broken or other pretreatment, they may form granular. The size and shape of these granular steel chips may vary. The steel chip cake maker is also suitable for granular steel chips. During the compression process, the granular steel chips push against each other in the working chamber of the cake beater, and the friction between the particles helps them to stick tightly together. Through the continuous pressure action, the granular steel chips gradually gather into a cake shape. This can further reduce the volume of granular steel chips, making them easier to recycle, for example as a high-quality raw material addition in the steelmaking process. Stainless Steel Press
4. Block steel chips (small size) Sometimes steel chips appear in the form of small blocks, which may be due to the fracture or initial condensation of the material during processing. The steel chip cake machine can incorporate these small sized block steel chips into the treatment range. It will use its own strong pressure to fuse these block steel chips together, overcome the gap between the block steel chips, and press them into a higher density cake structure. However, if the size of the block steel chips is too large, it may be necessary to pretreat them such as crushing to ensure that they can smoothly enter the working chamber of the cake beater for effective compression.Metal Pressing
