Metal briquetting press is a kind of mechanical equipment which uses hydraulic drive technology to directly cold press various metal chips (such as cast iron chips, aluminum chips, copper chips, steel chips, etc.) into high-density cylindrical briquettes under high pressure without adding any adhesive. System composition and key components
1. Hydraulic power unit: Consists of an electric motor, a high performance vane or plunger pump, and an integrated hydraulic valve block. The system is usually designed with hydraulic oil cooling cycle to ensure thermal stability under high frequency pressing.
2. Die and indenter system: The die cavity is usually made of high-strength alloy steel, which is vacuum hardened to resist the severe wear of metal chips. A micron-sized gap is kept between the indenter and the die to prevent the metal powder from overflowing.
3. Feeding and distribution mechanism: Comprises a hopper, a screw conveyor or a reciprocating feeding cylinder. The system is responsible for feeding the loose metal chips quantitatively and uniformly into the molding cavity.
4. Cutting fluid collecting tank: It is located under the die and is used to collect the cutting oil or emulsion precipitated due to severe extrusion during the pressing process.

Core operation logic
1. Primary filling: The feeding cylinder pushes the loose metal chips into the die cavity. At this time, the material density is very low.
2. High-pressure extrusion: The main cylinder drives the ram into the die cavity. With the increase of pressure, the metal chips are plastically deformed, the gaps between the chips are forcibly eliminated, and the mechanical bonding force between the metal atoms is generated.
3. Drainage stage: When the pressure reaches the peak value, the cutting fluid flows out under pressure and is collected to the collection system through the mold gap.
4. Demoulding and briquette discharging: After pressure maintaining, the briquette discharging cylinder acts to push the compact cylindrical briquette block away from the die cavity.
