The Flame Treatment Machine for plastic bottles is composed of a flame generating device and a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is often equipped with a rotatable support cone. The bottle can be inserted into the cone and enter the flame treatment head with the conveyor belt. The inside of the flame treatment head is filled with compressed air and Combustible gas, after ignition, sprays out a flame with pressure, which can oxidize the surface of the bottle. Why are polyolefin plastic bottles flame treated? :

Improve surface energy and improve ink adhesion

 Polyolefin plastic bottles have low surface energy, low polarity and strong chemical inertness, so it is difficult for inks, paints, etc. to adhere well to their surfaces. Through flame treatment, the molecular chains on the polyolefin surface are oxidized and some polar functional groups are introduced, such as carbonyl groups, carboxyl groups, etc., thereby significantly increasing the surface energy and enhancing the affinity for inks, coatings, glues, etc., during subsequent printing operations. The pattern will be clearer and firmer, and the paste will be more stable.

 After polyolefin plastic bottles are processed, they can be screen printed with a semi-Automatic Screen Printing Machine, and the adhesion of the ink will be greatly improved. If you choose UV ink, the adhesion of UV ink will also be improved. Used with UV curing machines, small and medium-sized investments can be made.
